Santa Fe Concorso

Recently, while staying at Buffalo Thunder the Hilton managed resort and casino just outside of Santa Fe, I literally lucked into a visual delight, the Santa Fe Concorso. Exquisitely designed antique automobiles owned by the likes of Ralph Lauren and Al Unser, Sr. were there on display before heading out for a scenic road tour and ending at the private grounds of the Legendary La Mesita, an exquisite 140-acre equestrian property just minutes away from downtown Santa Fe.

Santa Fe based car aficionados put this event together with the goal to raise funds to benefit the youth of Santa Fe and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Fe.

The nationally recognized judges included Sir Stirling Moss, Britain's greatest race driver; Al Unser, four-time winner of the Indianapolis 500; and Denise McCluggage, America’s First Lady of sports car racing, author, photographer and longtime contributor to AutoWeek.
